The client aimed to launch a robust Shopify store that mirrored their existing website content while introducing new e-commerce features, a venue booking system, and streamlined product enhancements — all within a scalable, app-driven ecosystem.

The objective was to migrate and enhance the client’s current website by launching a Shopify store that retains the existing visual and content structure while expanding functionality.
Key project needs included:
- Rebuilding essential pages with the same text and imagery as the current website
- Incorporating social integrations and scalable ordering functionalities
- Setting up a carry bag add-on for specific products like cakes
- Adding a venue hire/booking feature through third-party app integrations
- Ensuring everything is manageable post-launch with app-based scalability
The project also required client-side purchase of selected third-party apps for added features.
Solution
We developed a custom Shopify development store and prepared it for full ownership transfer to the client post-launch.
CONTENT MIGRATION & PAGE BUILD
- Recreated the following pages: Homepage, Shop Page, Product Detail Page, Our Menu, About Us, Contact Us, Gallery
- All content and images were reused from the existing site for consistency and brand alignment.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTEGRATION
- Integrated Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms using Shopify's native capabilities and apps to support product tagging, social discovery, and advertising connectivity.
PRODUCT EXPERIENCE ENHANCEMENTS
- Implemented a carry bag checkbox option visible on the product page and reflected in the cart’s total and grand total
- Designed the feature to be scalable across other similar products using an app-based “plug & play” approach
SHOP/VENUE BOOKING FUNCTIONALITY
- Integrated venue hire capability via a suggested app like Setmore for Shopify
- Explored both free and premium options to support scheduling and booking directly from the website
- Embedded the solution in a way that can be expanded if the full shop or parts of it are later offered as event spaces
ORDERING SYSTEM
- Recommended a reliable Shopify app for managing customer orders
- Client to purchase the required plan based on selected app
- Ensured compatibility with existing theme and checkout flow
Final Result
The result is a fully functional, scalable Shopify store that mirrors the existing site’s content while offering new customer-facing features. With app-driven extensions for product add-ons and venue bookings, the store is ready for real-time ordering, marketing integrations, and future expansion — with complete ownership and flexibility handed over to the client.
