The client requested a brighter, more modern user experience that enhances engagement and drives conversions. The website redesign focuses on updating the visual identity, simplifying content presentation, optimizing the shop experience, integrating live social proof, and improving anti-spam and compliance mechanisms. This scope includes both functional upgrades and visual redesigns.

Challenge

While the existing site presents detailed information, it suffers from visual fatigue, excessive scroll depth, a muted color palette, and outdated shop UX. Important calls-to-action are lost in text-heavy layouts. Spam submissions and lack of dynamic compliance (e.g., location-based cookie policies) add to operational overhead. The site also lacks real-time social media integration and conversion-driving elements like discount popups.

Solution

We implemented a comprehensive upgrade strategy aligned with modern UX and eCommerce best practices. Each solution is tailored to improve usability, clarity, engagement, and conversion rates — especially on mobile devices.

Brighter Color Theme

  • We introduced a vibrant color palette to replace the muted blues and grays. This helps the site feel more energetic and aligned with the brand’s creative identity. Bright CTA buttons and cleaner contrast improve scannability across all pages.

Homepage & FAQ Trimming

  • We removed repetitive and low-impact blocks from the homepage and FAQ, while preserving the informational value. FAQ was converted into an accordion format for quick navigation, and the homepage now guides users through a clear value-driven story.

Shop Page Redesign

  • Inspired by NavyGrey’s shop layout, the new shop page showcases products in an elegant grid with hover effects, larger product images, and simplified filters. This improves browsing comfort and helps products stand out.

First-Time Discount Popup

  • A cookie-based popup appears for new visitors, offering a limited-time discount code. This includes a lead capture field for email marketing. It's non-intrusive and disappears after the first visit or manual dismissal.

Social Media Feed Integration

  • Live Instagram and Facebook feeds were embedded in the footer and homepage. These feeds auto-refresh to show latest posts, tagged mentions, and behind-the-scenes content — boosting community credibility and brand trust.

Cookie Policy by Location

  • We installed a geo-targeted cookie consent plugin that displays the correct legal policy depending on the user’s country (e.g., GDPR in EU, CCPA in US). This ensures the site remains compliant without annoying non-regulated users.

Advanced Spam Protection

  • We replaced the basic robot checkbox with Google reCAPTCHA v3, which works silently in the background. As an alternative, Cloudflare Turnstile was tested for privacy-first users. Spam has been drastically reduced without hurting form conversion rates.

Final Result

These enhancements make the site more user-friendly, mobile-optimized, and conversion-driven — supporting both marketing goals and customer satisfaction.
